Oodles of Affiliate Traffic

Freebies-R-Us

If you’re looking for making money online free resources, this is your blog! Subscribe now using the form in the column on the right, and you will get an automatic notification every time there is something new here.

Some internet marketing bloggers give you the occasional freebie, but I will do it every time I post! The only exception will be if I have some great information for you but I cannot find a good freebie … because I will not just give you any old stuff, it has to be a good resource to help you in your internet marketing business. But I don’t think that will happen often. Because I know a lot of places to get good free stuff.

So you will find a top free money making report link later in this post. But first …

Oodles of Traffic

I recently asked my subscribers what was their biggest question or problem in internet marketing. This was Jim’s question:

“How can I turn all the traffic that I do receive into buyers? I get oodles and oodles of traffic, so it can’t be my ad copy. What do you think? I don’t have my own products to sell. I sell affiliate program products. Maybe it could be the affiliate program’s website sales letter.”

Yes it could be the affiliate program’s sales letter and if so there are two things you can do. Firstly, you could switch products. That is fine if you are marketing affiliate products through something like Clickbank or Commission Junction – you simply look for one that converts better. But I guess we may be talking about a network marketing program here, that you may have invested a lot of time into and have a monthly commitment and if the program is a good one then you will want to stick with it and not start “program-hopping” which is a recipe for failure.

So in that case you could set up a squeeze page where you write a few more lines of ad copy about the program, and get their names and addresses into an autoresponder. You’ll get a much better response if you offer them a relevant free report for subscribing (see below). Then once you have them on your list you can send them other useful information, keep promoting the program and build your credibility as a good person for them to sign up under. This will soon make up for anything lacking in the program’s sales letter.

If you don’t want all the work of creating your own squeeze page and autoresponder series you can sign up to a free marketing plan or “funded proposal” and send them to that instead. I use one called Profit Wildfire which is new and free so it’s easy to get people to join. Then when they sign up, their addresses go into your own autoresponder account and not into a company autoresponder. This is vital – you must have control of the autoresponder.

Another possibility is that there is no fault with the affiliate program’s sales letter, but your ads are attracting either the wrong people, or an untargeted market. As you are getting a high response I guess your ads may be untargeted, perhaps designed to arouse people’s curiosity and get them to click. You are sure to get high traffic and a low conversion rate that way. It is not a problem as long as you are not paying per click, but you will still be better off if you collect their email addresses. Those people are looking for something, and if your affiliate product is really not what they wanted, you can offer them other things later. You can even ask them what they were looking for, and then find it for them!

Now here’s the freebie – in fact two freebies, zipped up together here:

1. ‘Recurring Income Secrets’ with full PLR rights. This is a report on network marketing and MLMs which you can rewrite to suit your program(s), insert your affiliate links and give away on those squeeze pages.

2. ‘Affiliate Cash Machine’. This a great little report for mainstream IM affiliate marketers using Clickbank etc which may give you some new ideas. You have giveaway rights too.

Enjoy!
