If you’re not British, you may be wondering about the strange name . . let me explain . . .
‘Boot’ means trunk, the part of your car where you put your bags. So a ‘boot sale’ (aka ‘car boot sale’) is held on Sundays usually in a field or parking lot and people drive up there with their car boots full of old junk they want to sell and then they buy each others’ old junk and take it home and sell it on eBay.
This is an old British tradition going back approximately 25 years (except for the eBay part, that is more modern) 
What I do not understand though, is why Will has called it a sale when everything is free …?
