Well, this explains all the spam I’ve been getting! I was wondering why my private email account was collecting so much spam from internet marketers.

Guess I better make my PayPal password even harder! I always felt a little uneasy giving my email when signing up as an affiliate, but figured it would be okay – now I know that nagging feeling was right on.

Thank you so much for the tip – this may very well be the best information I’ve gotten from a marketer this year.

We wonder why businesses such as PayPal and others are not going the extra step to inform all customers that their accounts should and must be protected with secure pass cods, etc. You would think that they would want their accounts to be as secure as they can make them. Thanks for the tip Rosie – I had read about these security tokens but didn’t know they were live or how to get one. I have to admit that I have been a little worried about security since I have to give over my PayPal address for so many affiliate programs! – CS

Rosie, thanks for letting me know. I had heard about it but I was never able to find it with a Paypal search, because I didn’t know how it was called. I was always searching for “card+some other word”.
