You can either add your affiliate links manually (without altering the links that the article writer has included of course) or use WordPress Affiliate Pro which will do it automatically.

You can have the articles in draft so you can approve them before they are published. And if you want to post something yourself on your own blog, you just do it in the normal way. If you want to post to other blogs using the system, you have to join as a paid member of course.

How do i ensure that my affiliate links also get added when the article is added to my blog.

And if i want to check the article and want to do my own posting how do i go about it

Hmm ok. I was just curious if that’s a standard thing. I did a search for that text (it seemed like a very generic statement) and found a couple of other sites, but not much. It just seemed like a ridiculous thing for them to say. I read it as they are prohibiting others from linking to their sites.. Like this story: http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=786584

Hi Wyatt, that is really a question for the site owners, not for me! However, I imagine it is just a standard legal clause to give them recourse if anybody hijacks the Syndicate Kahuna site in any way and also to give them a legal get-out if somebody starts spamming or using other illegal promotion methods. They are encouraging people to link to the site in regular ways of course, so that more people will join.

Linking back and forth certainly goes on between the blogs that use the Syndicate Kahuna service … as you say, that is the point of it.

I went to check out Syndicate Kahuna and found an interesting section in their terms of service..

“HYPERLINKING TO SITE, CO-BRANDING, “FRAMING” AND REFERENCING SITE PROHIBITED

Unless expressly authorized by website, no one may hyperlink this site, or portions thereof, (including, but not limited to, logotypes, trademarks, branding or copyrighted material) to theirs for any reason. Further, you are not allowed to reference the url (website address) of this website in any commercial or non-commercial media without express permission, nor are you allowed to ‘frame’ the site. You specifically agree to cooperate with the Website to remove or de-activate any such activities and be liable for all damages. You hereby agree to liquidated damages of US$100,000.00 plus costs and actual damages for violating this provision.”

Isn’t linking back and forth what the whole blogging community based upon? Why would a service that depends upon bloggers for its income put something like that in their TOS?
