Profit Tips For Giveaways
Always use an OTO that people will see as soon as they confirm their subscription to your list. This way, you can convert your new subscribers to buyers as soon as possible.
For me, a low priced OTO converts best – i.e. $7 or $9.
Promote as hard as you can to get your gift the best possible spot.
You do not necessarily need to have your own list already. Since you are promoting free gifts, you can get a lot of signups from free advertising sites, traffic exchanges, etc.
If there is an upgrade option, it is usually well worth going for. Just a few extra OTO sales will cover the cost, and you have more people on your list to buy other products from you in the future.
Backend sales (selling other products to past customers) is where most businesses make most of their money – online or offline. So don’t neglect your list!
