BlogRush – Free Traffic Hits
This is a BlogRush review – John Reese’s new free traffic hits system, and the dark side where he might have got the idea!
A few months ago I was reading a short report by Liz Tomey about how adult sites get traffic. If you read it too you’ll probably remember, because it was pretty surprising. Sure they advertise a lot. Sure they resort to nasty tactics like window spawning. But the biggest source of traffic for many, and how this one guy that she had interviewed made most of his money, was a system where they referred traffic to each other by hosting links and ads for each other’s sites on a credits basis. You might think they would be afraid of losing their traffic to their competitors. But in fact people who sign up to one adult site will usually sign up to others, so the net overall result of this system for adult webmasters was a BIG boost in their traffic and signups.
I remember Liz saying that a lot of the new developments in internet marketing have come out of innovations by the adult webmasters. If you think about it, they have so many limitations on how they can advertise, they have to be inventive. And I read this article and I thought, okay, yes, it would be great to have a traffic-referring system like that in internet marketing because it is also true for us that people will join a lot of similar sites, but since we don’t have such a system, and I don’t have the first idea how to go about creating one, what use is this information to me?
And now, John Reese has just brought out exactly this kind of system. I don’t know if he read Liz’s report, but he might as well have. It’s strictly for non-adult non-spammy blogs (yes, blogs only at this stage) and it’s free.
